Mag-Knee-ficent!

Hey all you Crissy Field Center fans! For those of you who have been following the dramatic saga of Roshan's knee, we have good news, and bad news...

First the bad news- Roshan has been diagnosed with Iliotibial Band Syndrome:( Basically there is excessive friction between the knee bones which causes excruciating pain. Her Sports Medicine doc prescribed physical therapy twice a week and (here is the bad news...brace yourselves) told her not to run if it hurts. So, Roshan is out of commission for an indefinite amount of time:(

The Good News -

Chee is going to run the marathon with Roshan strapped to his back, YAY! No but really, Chee will still be training and will make up the service project miles, while also praying for a swift recovery to Roshan's I.T. Band.

We will keep you all posted, bye for now.

  1. Ro,

Just a thought. I know a guy who knows a guy who helps design carbon fiber appendages for amputees. You could amputate your leg slightly above the knee, goodbye I.T. Band, and replace it with a new American made bionic carbon fiber leg. Not only would your new bionic leg make you stronger and faster but, purchasing a new American made product helps us all during a time of economic hardship. You and your new leg would embody all that is great about America; self interested sacrifice that benefits the entire nation. Way to go Ro! I think I can her Obama weeping and holding you up as a role model for both Sasha and Malia. Before you rush to judgment and call me a heartless bastard, there are two points I want you to consider. First, I could never be a heartless bastard because I sort of have two hearts or at least one and a half. Hence my support for "bionic" enhancements. Second, you would probably earn a sweet nickname like this dude:

    Think about it.

  2. Touche, BMG. You can also get a cheaper version of the fiber at Walmart at their sporting goods section. Designed in the USA but produced in the PRC, hundred percent disposable and lead free. Now on sale: buy one get the other one free.
