Happy New Year! We hope you had a enjoyable holiday break. As you might have noticed the countdown ticker to the top right signifies the remaining time until the mighty 2009 San Francisco Marathon descends upon Roshan and Chee. What makes this event very special for us is that it will be our first time running with the Center - Chee's first full-marathon, and Roshan's second. Much more is at stake as we strive to make this meaningful both for us and for the Center! With that in mind, for every 100 miles we train, we invite you to pledge at least four hours to a volunteer service project here in the park with us. Whether it is weeding out the invasive plants at Crissy Field with the Presidio Parks Stewards, or saving the endangered red-legged frogs at Mori Point with the Site Stewardship Program; we need your support. Please join us, together we can cross the finish line! A sign up sheet will be available at the staff community corkboard at the Center's second floor kitchen area.
